The hitherto little known Patchwork technique is gaining popularity, hence the Department of Women, in collaboration with the Association of Patchwork and Work House, which is dedicated to cultivating and promoting the art of needle and thimble, no you have missed the opportunity to organize Patchwork II National Meeting, held on Saturday December 13 at City Hall Espada, with the participation of about 200 people inside and outside the Region of Murcia.
A biannual meeting, this time, given the dates approach, will be dedicated to Christmas, as announced by the mayor of Women, Clara Heredia during the presentation ceremony, which was accompanied by Amparo López, lecturer and representative of one of the associations Patchwork, and municipal technical Conchi Hernandez.
In this second edition of the meeting is to make a solidarity quilt, whose proceeds will go to Alba, a child with special needs, ahead Heredia, Christmas and Christmas Contest made ​​with fabric will also be held, as well as an exhibition of work elaborated on this issue and sale of Christmas related items.
