Today Coinciding with the celebration of International Volunteer Day, the Department of Social Services of the City of Cartagena has made ​​public the names of the winners in the sixth edition of Voluntary Commitment Award.
The jury, chaired by Councilman Antonio Calderon, has selected applications from Alfonso Martínez Barbero and the group of volunteers Torre Nazareth.
For Alfonso Martinez was awarded his individual work, which has been conducting since 1996 with the Little Sisters of the Poor in few tasks is required.
The collective award, awarded to volunteers Torre Nazareth, was taken into account its work with terminally ill with AIDS.
The delivery of these awards will take place on Monday, December 15th in the classroom culture of CAM Social Works on Main Street.
