Other performances by renewing infrastructure of the town are already underway for weeks are renewing Captains Ripoll, Sebastian Avenue Feringán or Alfonso XIII Street of Sorrows
Were the first works to renovate network of rain and surface Sebastian Feringa Street after remodeling Captains Ripoll, Calle Alfonso XIII of Sorrows, Alfonso X and a stretch of Wssell Guimbarda, all almost simultaneously, and the last to join this improved infrastructure of the municipality, have been the Plaza of Spain Cabrera Street, located on one side of, better known as Parcheesi Medical Center District Virgen de la Caridad.
As regards the Plaza of Spain, launched in mid-November, the idea is to make it a more accessible space, encouraging daily use and its location as a link from downtown to the Eixample.
To this are underway improvement works on the surface and the environment, with a new pavement, more lighting, irrigation network, enabling services for the future installation of a kiosk and repair damaged pergolas and wall pieces.
The works, with a deadline of two months is expected to be completed by after Christmas.
The latest project to join the master plan is to Renovation of the storm on the street Cabrera, works that began last week, by González Soto Public Works, with a lead time of two and half months .
The amount of the award is 157,458 euros, VAT included.
The execution of this work will involve the installation of 118 meters of storm drain pipe through reinforced concrete, down the street Valdemosa, and about 200 meters of PVC pipe collector, down the street Cabrera, plus 25 scuppers with their corresponding connections.
This will complete the paving of two streets in the area affected by the works.
The action is implemented in four phases, the first concerns the street Valdemosa, the second to Cabrera, between Greece and Valdemosa streets, and the third and fourth phases, the street Cabrera, between Calle Mayor Blanca Villegas and Valdemosa.
So 2015 will bring a new look for Cartagena streets and squares distinguished.
