La Casa del Pueblo of SPCT last night welcomed the launch of a Food Bank.
The initiative launched in yesterday, aims to alleviate some of the difficult situation currently living cartageneras many families.
This charity project has begun to operate thanks to contributions from neighbors, supporters and activists of SPCT.
So in this first contribution, have managed to collect 300 kg of basic foods, which are classified as early, lots will be distributed to families in difficulties municipality.
SPCT is aware of its limitations, and has proposed to launch a family sponsorship program so that the initiative can be maintained over time.
This initiative aims to reach all year to a number of families, maybe small in the beginning, and we think it is more useful to continue the project, which arrive in a timely manner to a larger number of households.
SPCT encourages anyone who wishes to join the project started yesterday, any help is little and be welcome.
