The Councillor for Industry and Employment, Joaquín Mowing, described the rise in unemployment than 440 people in Cartagena in November as "a bad thing, but it's a bad thing into a positive step that is being maintained since early last year."
Mowing has said that when unemployment rises "We must say the same thing when low, what matters are the trends. If unemployment has risen 2% in a month to remember that the year has been reduced by 6.3% and we have 1,630 fewer unemployed than a year ago. Since starting this trend there are 2,260 fewer unemployed. That's 10% less unemployed in the city of Cartagena.
Councilman Jobs has said that November is usually a difficult month, but in recent times has been much more complicated and gave as an example the fact that in the last seven years the average increases in unemployment was 2,100 more unemployed with an average increase of 20% unemployment.
