Pergolas Lorenzo Ros, located in the Plaza de Spain are protected by the General Plan of protection class 2, as reflected in the record 117 of that plan.
Unfortunately this heritage element like the rest of the Plaza of Spain, has been deteriorated over time from lack of maintenance has suffered this enclave of the city.
SPCT believes that with the remodeling of the Plaza of Spain has a great opportunity to value these sources pergolas murals masks.
We think it is the duty of the administration conserving its heritage and committed to the recovery and installation in the square on the relevant indication to show visitors the origin and nature of the work.
Also from SPCT expect the government team not turn this symbolic place of our city, in a new space of concrete, and with a commitment to the preservation of existing trees, flowerbeds and improving playgrounds incorporating this square to the offering entertainment of our city.
Finally note that the latest remodeling of the City, especially the Glorieta San Francisco has become spaces with greenery, and the prevailing huge terraces that prevent normal ride sometimes neighbors.
