The Chair of Flamenco de Cartagena organizes the contest |
The Chair of Flamenco de Cartagena announce its first literary contest dedicated to research the history and traditions of Flamenco Arts, specifically in the field of music, such as singing, dancing and guitar.
The event has the support of the City Council, the Cultural Association of Art and Flamenco City of Cartagena and Alhama de Murcia Flemish Cultural Association.
Interested parties may submit their work until May 8 to the Cultural Association of Art and Flamenco City of Cartagena, located on the street Bucharest, 105, in the Industrial Cabezo Beaza, Cartagena.
The subject is directed to exalt the art of flamenco as a whole, although those works that result in local issues within the scope of the Region of Murcia and the Campo de Cartagena, where the birth occurred and building are valued the Cantes called Cartagena.
The prize for the winner is a thousand euros, to compensate for the waiver copyright of first publication.
Although the jury the prize may be forfeited.
The present work is written in Castilian, with a length between 40 and 60 pages, single-sided, DIN A4 format, font Times New Roman, size 12, double spaced.
The jury will be announced in the press and media in the Region of Murcia, as well as nationally, and on the website of the Department of Flamenco de Cartagena. The award ceremony will take place in Cartagena 5 June;
the winner being committed to attend.
