The Councillor for Education, Joseph Marotta, who along with the Coordinating Unit and Technical Infrastructure, Conservation and Cleanliness Teaching Institutions have been making visits to schools, weekly, to inspect and verify the maintenance needs of the facility and buildings is planned, the result of these visits, conducting works and repairs in Colleges of Education and Municipal Public Primary and nursery schools during the Christmas holidays.
The works already approved involving a total of 31 performances in 18 Teaching Institutions, with a cost of about 75,000 euros.
Addition of 9 electrical maintenance projects in as many centers, amounting to approximately 125,000 euros.
Similarly, a number of projects are in the pipeline and that this holiday, which represent another twenty performances and EEIIMM CEIPS, totaling approximately 120,000 euros also would perform.
