A total of 60 elderly participated last week in two of the routes included in the walking program organized by the municipality of Cartagena through the Department of Social Services.
The first took place on Wednesday and was to discover the 12 km linking Cartagena Vista Alegre, the Sierra Gorda, the ravine Orpheus, St. Lucia and Plaza Bastarreche.
A tour with a maximum altitude of 173 meters and had an average physical difficulty.
In total it took them three and a half hours to complete the route.
On Friday there was a change of route, an urban cultural tour framing Pinwheel hill, street charity, Tender, Castle of Moros, Paseo Delicias de Santa Lucia and visit the Glass Factory.
There they toured an exhibition of work, saw a demonstration of glass pieces and an explanation of the history of the factory.
The course was 6.5 miles.
