The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities carry out works to improve safety in the College of Education and Elementary Virgin of Begoña, Cartagena, at a cost of 30,833 euros.
This action, which will begin in the coming weeks and will be completed before the end of the year will be replacement of perimeter fences, which is impaired by a new fence installed on a concrete wall seen.
The Director General of Educational Planning and Human Resources, Enrique Ujaldón visited the center this morning accompanied by the Councillor for Education Cartagena, Joseph Marotta.
"With this investment we want to value this center and get the school to receive a quality education in the best possible conditions," said Enrique Ujaldón during the visit.
With this last performance, investment of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities in the center is about 100,000 euros in the last four years.
Specifically, since 2010 has been allocated 99,308 euros for the construction of a sports courts and replacing the exterior carpentry in several classrooms.
In addition, he has done some expansion space to enable school classrooms.
The Virgin of Begoña CEIP located in Tentegorra, this course has a total enrollment of 479, 155 and 324 in Early Childhood Education in Secondary Education, over 6 and 13 units, respectively.
