Effective Fire Station City of Cartagena yesterday afternoon rescued a dog that had been thrown by a person within an old mine shaft of La Union.
Firefighters rushed to the scene located in the hamlet of Pandero about 15:30 pm, following a warning from the Emergency Coordination Center of the Autonomous Community.
To rescue the animal that was alive at 22 meters deep, it was necessary to mount a tripod, as the pit walls had peeling danger.
