The Photo Contest Cartagena Port of Cultures concluded its seventh edition Wednesday with the awards ceremony held at the English Court, the sponsor.
This year the festival of Carthaginians and Romans starred this initiative by the City through Port of Cultures.
The ceremony was attended by the Councillor for Tourism, Palazón Carolina, the manager Cartagena Port of Cultures, Agustina Martinez, director of the Museum of the Roman Theatre, Elena Ruiz, and the director of the English Court in Cartagena, Alfredo Carvajal.
The jury awarded the first prize at Sunset Hill by Juan Trujillo Segura, and second prize for picture soldiers before battle Villanueva Emilio Rubio.
Besides two runners Luis Godinez Roa, his image Weddings Hannibal and Imilce 2014, Joaquín López Martínez, for newlyweds.
This time the two runners-up were chosen by the contestants of this year, they have had the opportunity to vote for their three favorite photos among the 50 who have been exposed to the English Court of Cartagena own for 15 days.
For the second year, the awards have been sponsored by El Corte Ingles.
The prizes consist of gift cards to El Corte Ingles, valued at $ 500 first prize, $ 200 second and $ 100 each for the two runners-up.
