Everything is prepared for the VI Hotel Art Fair 2014, organized by the municipality of Cartagena in collaboration with curators and the NH.
The special exhibition will be held from 14 to 16 November and will transform rooms at the NH Ciudad de Cartagena at the focus of the artistic life of the region by concentrating a large number of works and Cartagena, Murcia and the rest of the peninsula artists.
Why is organized Art Hotel?
There are several reasons for a good number of works of art, the artists that produce and commercialize galleries gather in one floor of a hotel: one is to attract a type of audience that is not usually accessible to cultural spaces, are art galleries, knocking a psychological barrier that usually keeps away from them;
another is to connect with curators, authors and prospective buyers of artworks in a unique space that somehow encourages the exchange and inter-relationships.
In the current edition is the collaboration has ten galleries, four of which are based in Cartagena, two in the city of Murcia, one in Madrid, one in Almeria, one in Valencia and Castellon.
As discussed from the organization, his desire is simply to visit VI Art Hotel Cartagena outside the visitor an aesthetic experience after visiting the ten spaces, their worldview was exciting, different and original art.
Besides visiting, 2014 Art Hotel will offer a panel discussion on the 15th, also in the NH, where he spoke about the art market today.
