The Cartagena Film Festival (FICC), with the cooperation of the City, will for the third consecutive year with the Young amateurs section, for the screening of great films and classic films aimed at students of 3rd and 4th of the ESO and 1st and 2nd Bachelor.
And this year, and to mark the centenary of the first occurrence of the character of Charlie Chaplin in the film, the section will focus on Charles Chaplin, as a tribute to one of the great figures in the history of cinema.
Films in order of projection are Modern Times, The Great Dictator, Limelight and A King in New York. These screenings will take place in the CAM Foundation from 25 to 28 November at 10 am.
With big pants, big shoes, bowler hat and his trusty cane, Chaplin created one of the great icons of cinema.
But in addition, Chaplin was one of the few filmmakers who has adapted to the transition from silent to sound films and went on to direct many films and is also a screenwriter, actor, producer and composer.
It is in this section, sponsored by Repsol, the young can learn from 1 euro to the great masters of cinema of all time and started in the audiovisual language and gender, as well as in film theory and currents.
