The National Association of Veterans Mili Sahara chose this year Cartagena to celebrate their X National Meeting from 17 to 19 October, and so far moved about five hundred people, including veterans and family members on Saturday were greeted by the Security council Citizen, Mariano García, at the Palace Hall.
Taking advantage of his stay in the city and in La Manga throughout the weekend, participants were sightseeing, include in its program of cultural activities, visits by the rich archaeological heritage of Cartagena.
Based in Barcelona and close to 200 members, the Association of Veterans of the Sahara holds an annual national meeting to group who, in their day, they were brothers in arms in the territory of Spanish Sahara, and gather their experiences, memories and anecdotes to keep alive a piece of the history of Spain.
