The Councillor for Tourism, Palazón Carolina, congratulated the City of Caceres on his appointment as Gastronomic Capital of 2015, a distinction to which concurred Cartagena near Valencia, Lugo, and Huesca.
Cartagena Palazón recalled that when already won Turespaña invited us to compete for that title and gave us a chance of promotion that have exploited.
In this sense, the councilor pointed out that during the last month and a half the cuisine of Cartagena and the rest of their tourism has been in the media in Spain.'ve Taken the opportunity and we are now much better known as a dining destination .
Carolina Palazón thanked the support he has received the nomination of Cartagena, by citizens and from institutions such as local groups, the Regional Assembly, and added that this unit is the best formula for any challenge.
Councillor for Tourism said that in the weeks leading up to this decision have worked among all many ideas for the development and promotion of Cartagena cuisine. Going to mature those ideas along to the sector not only to compete but next year, above all, to grow as a gastronomic reference.
