The Council of Government has cleared a proposal from the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, hiring and spending of the works included in the project for the construction of a collector tank sanitation and storm Urrutias in municipality of Cartagena, amounting to 2,712,285 euros.
The aim is to collect rainwater drained through a specific network, through sinks driveway, remove the first rainwater every storm that clean vials.
Thus, it is to avoid potential contamination in beach and flood low-lying areas of the development.
The proposed works consist of a network of mains and branch pipes with a total length of 757 meters.
These collectors converge in the storm tank where the water is deposited.
The works will be contracted by open procedure and its execution time is eight months.
