"We are replacing the requirements of sensuality by the rules."
It is one of the claims on which the conference has rotated Wednesday offered in UPCT Professor Ignacio Paricio.
Titled 'Sensuality and tenderness in contemporary architecture', Professor of Construction at the University of Barcelona has defended the architectural adaptation of the buildings to the comfort needs of individuals, respecting the standards of energy sustainability.
This way you want to deal, Paricio noted, the so-called "standard stupidity" seated in some fashion to the current architecture seeking efficiency regardless of comfort and pleasure.
During the talk, Ignacio Paricio, who chairs the association per Arquitectes Architecture, has offered what he calls his "declaration of intent" with respect to the architectural model "will be erected in the coming years."
A model based on search through the "good architecture" a reduction of the energy consumed.
"The current cost of energy will force us to change and look to the past," said Professor Paricio.
He also stressed the need for an architecture that allows spaces that provide welfare to people.
"The minimalist trends are leading to an abstract conception forget all that is sensuality.
Sensuality is the air coming through the curtains and cool, or light coming through the windows and allows nap "exemplified the architect.
In the inaugural lecture in Graduate Hall of the Faculty of Business, Ignacio Paricio respected examples shown this model, housing mainly the Spanish bourgeoisie of the early twentieth century.
"We have to find ways to comply with the objectives of sensuality and sustainability, designing mechanisms for good architecture," he reiterated.
In his presentation, he has praised the nuances of the penumbra, drafts or distribution of power in the façade, as elements that the new architecture should be present.
