Nine other European cities integrate this program, developing local policies to promote diversity in the economy with this group.

Cartagena continues with the development of local policies for immigrant integration, and this time, Hand DELI project (Diversity in Local Economy and Integration).
This is the program led by the Council of Europe and funded by the European Integration, with the participation of the Migration Policy Group (Migration Policy), and has the support of the City, through the Redevelopment Agency Local and Employment (ALDE) and the Department of Social Services.
Nine other European cities DELI up the project, such as Bucharest (Romania), Getxo (Spain), Dublin (Ireland), Munich (Germany), Lisbon (Portugal), London, Lewisham (UK), Reggio Emilia (Italy) are Rotterdam (Netherlands) and Vienna (Austria).
With this program, Cartagena, which is also part of the Network of Intercultural Cities (RECI), continues to enhance the culture of diversity, configured as a factor of wealth and where working from all municipal departments, claimed on Wednesday the Councillor for Social Care, Antonio Calderon, during the presentation.
From this year until the project is June 2015, and aims to establish a platform for local collaboration between all public and private actors involved, in business advice for entrepreneurs, especially those who have more difficulty accessing the labor market;
design economic policies that follow the principles of equality, integration and diversity management;
and to value the diversity management in companies as a competitive advantage and profitability.
For his part, Councillor for Employment, Joaquín Segado, adding that the economy can not conceive of our city back to this group in Cartagena representing about 13% of the population, about 30,000 people, hence we have to take measures for the integration of immigrants in the business.
SEMINAR AND ROUNDTABLE
It will be on November 4 when it is established, at 9 am, the Platform Support Project, which will consist of representatives of all public and private stakeholders represented in the region and city.
That day will be held a seminar on the project in the auditorium of the Faculty of Business, which will open the mayor, Pilar Barreiro, at 9.45 hours.
It will allow a forum for debate and dialogue on the Economic Horizon of European Cities and Social Responsibility, the relationship between Diversity and Local Development Company-and existing financial alternatives.
The event will be closed by Council of Social Services and Employment.
To develop this project, has also organized a roundtable on the 26th, in the Assembly Hall of the Teatro Romano.

Also participating large companies and organizations that give their views on Social Responsibility in Provider Contracting.
The opening will be at 10 am by the mayor, attended by councilors and Joaquin Antonio Calderón Segado.
