The Neighborhood of the Roman Forum, with its recent roadways recovered, and the House of Fortune with new environments and recreations offer for the months of October, November and December activities for the whole family.
The City, through Cartagena Port of Cultures has scheduled guided tours and workshops in order to learn more about the lives of the citizens of the Empire in Carthago Nova.
Today, Monday, the 13th, the presentation took place in the renovated House of Fortune, which has been attended by the Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, and manager of Cartagena Port of Cultures, Agustina Martinez.
The House of Fortune, currently only visitable Roman domus presents museological developments that help you understand all the rooms where today have original mosaics and a large set of murals that give special luxury housing and wealth.
New museology more didactic and visual as well as a recreation in 3D, produced by the Integra Foundation and conducted by the company Digital Mind Cartagena, shows the reconstruction of the house, pointing out the key moments of the daily life of a patrician family.
It has also recreated a scene with furniture, true to the period, completing a comprehensive overview of an entire house and found in the triclinium or former banquet hall.
The section also includes new information panels informing visitors of the rooms that make up this Roman house, as well as the characteristics of the city from the Roman era.
If private citizens areas of the empire in the Barrio del Foro develop in the House of Fortune, much of its commercial, civil and religious activity was developed.
