City Council, NGOs and companies collaborating in the organization of the sixth edition of this fair Resources and Services, held from 17 to 19 October in the marquee on the forecourt of the port
Show the services and resources available to older and disabled people in the municipality and their families and caregivers, as well as the work they have done throughout the course in the workshops organized by the 43 biggest clubs of the town, are the subject the conclusion of the sixth edition of Femadis 2014 Fair which will on 17, 18 and 19 October in the marquee on the Esplanade Harbour.
Here, as explained by the Councillor for Social Care, Antonio Calderon, during the presentation of the event, be stands where the resources from the administration and non-governmental organizations, are made ​​available to improve these people will show their quality of life, but also the work they have done in theater workshops, carnival, crafts, small tastings.
In addition, major associations sell their work for solidarity, as proceeds will go to the Dining Room and the Good Samaritan Sisters of the Poor.
Besides the City, through Informayor and Volunteer Plan in this fair also collaborate UPCT IMAS, social entities as Afibrocar, ONCE, or Astus Sodicar and related companies providing services to the elderly and disabled, as GAES, Eulen or Los Almendros, and they all have their informational booths in the tent at the Fair, whose inauguration will be borne by the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, on Friday, October 17th at 12:30 pm.
