UPCT Researchers have cornered two of the three awards given to the best papers presented at the 53rd Congress of Naval Engineering and Industry Marina being held this week in Cartagena.
Work on offshore platforms offshore researchers from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena José Enrique Gutiérrez, Blas Jeronimo Esteve and Zamora, with the collaboration of Dr. Polytechnic of Catalonia Julio García Espinosa, received the second paper of the Congress for 'Procedure for studying the dynamic behavior of floating structures in
time domain '.
It is the third time this group of researchers are rewarded at national conferences of Naval Engineering receiving.
The third prize went to the group of students that make up the SIREN UPCT team aimed to design and build an autonomous solar-powered submarine, which appeared in the paper 'SIREN Incorporating a performance platform MCM'.
The Polytechnic University of Cartagena also received an award for its collaboration with the congress.
