The Cartagena Lledo Andrew continues his challenge of completing 4 Deserts, and now it's the turn of one of the driest deserts in the world, the Atacama in Chile.
It will be on Sunday, March 5, when undertaking this adventure after having successfully passed the first two tests, the Sahara Race in Jordan and the Gobi in China.
Until October 11 Lledo will go a total of 250 kilometers in a race of self-sufficiency and facing 3,500 meters uphill.
The race starts at 3000 meters altitude in the valley of the Rainbow and ends in the town of San Pedro de Atacama, located some 2,400 meters.
Participants, including Lledo, have to go through these 7 days in sand dunes, rivers and meadows long in this harsh desert in which we can follow the steps to our Cartagena athlete.
The cold will be the next and final challenge of 4Deserts with ice of Antarctica, where blizzards form part of the daily lives of these athletes.
