The Governing Board of Education Park Road Cartagena, chaired by the mayor and composed of representatives of the departments of Public Safety and Education, the Provincial Traffic Department, the Ministry of Education, Political Groups and the Federation of Neighborhood Associations is meets on Wednesday 1 October at 10.30 hours at the park, on the street à ngel Bruna, to mark the start of the 2014-2015 school year.
The purpose of this meeting will give an account of the activities undertaken during the past year, as well as presenting the program of activities for the coming months, aimed primarily at promoting road safety education among students in schools and institutes, something that Local Police Cartagena has participated since 1980.
The most important activity that takes place in the ENP is that of teaching the contents of the Municipal Plan Driver Education, which for 22 years has been developed between the Department of Education and Public Safety, and which in the course 2013-2014, 2436 students passed the total of 4392 persons participated in the various activities.
Currently, the Park Road Education is integrated into the organizational structure of the SPAT (School of Public Safety of the City of Cartagena), under the Department of Public Safety, and has four monitors dedicated mainly to its management and operation.
