The Student House today hosted the presentation of the academic year to 120 foreign students who spend several months at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) with international exchange program Erasmus +.
Students were welcomed with a breakfast at half past ten and heard the welcome address the Director General of Universities of the Autonomous Community, Luis Javier Lozano, the rector of Internacionlización, José Manuel Ferrández and Coordinator of International Relations José María Molina.
Also speaking members of ISAC (International Students Association Cartagena), who presented to Erasmus showed the schedule of activities for international students during the first two months of the course.
In addition to the Erasmus also attended other students of international exchange programs that UPCT hosts.
It is expected that 215 foreign students pass through the halls of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena along this course from 2014 to 2015.
The number of Erasmus in the first quarter has been a 42% increase over the same period last year.
