Students of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena Jorge Saucedo Mendoza and Jose Carlos Izquierdo Carrasco have been selected by Telefónica to compete in the final phase of its Talentum Startups program with innovative applications that have been developed as Fellows of the multinational operator in Network Chairs Technology Companies UPCT.
Mendoza and Left exposed alongside the other six students from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena who have enjoyed a biannual scholarship of 500 euros a month and a workspace in the Phone-UPCT Chair, technological applications and their commercial potential before a jury chaired by the director of Telefónica in the Region of Murcia, Angel Lloret.
The two selected initiatives compete for the title of best national startup projects from all regions on 25 November in Madrid.
Applying Jorge Mendoza, 'MedicRA', manages the user's health, controlling their treatments, diagnosis, medical history and medications, providing information to pharmaceutical and healthcare entities.

a browser to optimize road transports;
A guide to environmentally sustainable leisure facilities;
a device that centralized control of home electronics and a program for smartphone that warns of supply of services as geolocation and user interests.
The Red Chairs Technology Companies UPCT (http://red-catedras.upct.es) this week has been distinguished in the Socinfo Awards Foundation and the journal 'Information Society' in the category of Cooperation ICT companies with public administrations.
