Environment, Sustainability and Food Security have staged this Thursday, the 18th, a Day of the Tourism Sector, designed for hoteliers, managers and responsible management of the municipality.
The Roman Theatre Museum hosted these talks organized by the company SGS certification with the assistance of the City.
Attendees at this conference and know the latest trends that are developing the tourism sector to be more competitive and improve costs, while awareness of the importance of the environment is taken.
These conferences are also linked the Councillor for Tourism, Palazón Carolina, who during the presentation of the event stressed that with such initiatives enhances the social, political and economic value of this sector.
Tourism is a vital part of our economy that must be promoted to a higher quality and thus meet the demands of our visitors who increasingly value sustainability, explained Councillor for the Environment, Joaquín Segado.
In these talks the employer also learned to improve based on the legal requirements and regulations that promote and discover the different grants that are accessible by taking measures such as using sustainable materials or contribute to CO2 reductions.
This was explained SGS delegate in Murcia, Álvaro Pérez.
Certified Sustainability in hotels was the first of the lectures of the day, delivered by Javier Lopez, of Greater Energy Efficiency, which addressed inter alia the use of sustainable materials in such premises.
SGS's own delegate in Murcia was responsible for providing carbon footprint, that will help our business to take measures regarding water conservation.

and the last paper is Indoor Air Quality;
RITE compliance with regulations, Alfredo Ruiz, Indoor Air Quality and Energy SGS.
