The City of Cartagena has been awarded the 2014 Murcia Region Award Information Society, which organizes the magazine Socinfo Foundation and the Information Society.
This Wednesday the ceremony was held during the seminar on Information Society in the Region of Murcia (II): Towards the recovery, and received on behalf of the council, Councillor for Employment, Joaquín Segado.
The Ministry of Finance welcomed today at its headquarters in Murcia this celebration, chaired by the Director General of Heritage and Telecommunications, Miriam Perez.
Another 14 institutions and organizations in the Region of Murcia also received this recognition for their work throughout the year.
Thus, the Polytechnic University of Cartagena and Murcia, Murciano Health Service and the City of Murcia were others who received the award this morning.
The winners were: Regional Computer Centre of the Region of Murcia (Implementation and extension of an interoperability platform), the Murciano Health Service (Platform for electronic public bidding SMS), the Institute of Tourism Region of Murcia (Platform Tourism Marketing of the Region of Murcia), the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia, the Directorate General of Educational Institutions, the city of Murcia, the City of Cartagena, the city of Molina de Segura, Murcia University, the University Polytechnic University of Cartagena, the Brotherhood Mediterranean Pharmaceutical Society Cooperative Elpozo Food SA., Himoinsa, SL Hidrogea Murcia, SA and Disfrimur (electronic service information sharing with third parties).
