The Polytechnic University of Cartagena has welcomed this week the creation of a new technological chair, this time the company ICL Fertilizers Fuentes, who collaborate with UPCT to achieve a more productive and sustainable agriculture.
ICL is a multinational fertilizer and chemicals company, owned Fuentes Fertilizers, the largest producer of specialty fertilizers Spain.
This firm is the second company that adds agronomic Network Technology Chairs launch last year by the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
The director of the School of Agricultural UPCT, Alejandro Pérez Pastor, explained that the department will aim to "achieve a more productive and sustainable agriculture and encourage the entrepreneurial spirit, supporting entrepreneurial initiatives and the creation of new business ventures."
The Chair created develop research programs in plant production and propose the creation of a master in fertigation internationally.
