Javier Prior, professor of Applied Physics at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), has been appointed to the editorial board of the journal Nature Scientific Report of the Group, the world leader in scientific publications.
Prior, Quantum Physics expert and secretary of the School of Architecture and Building Engineering, is principal investigator of the group "Quantum Many Body Systems" UPCT.
His projects have received funding for basic research programs not targeted the central government and the Autonomous Community through the Seneca Foundation.
The results of his research have been published in recent years in the major journals in physics and have had great echo and international acceptance.
The international journal Nature Physics last year published an article by Professor Javier Prior, in which he explained how quantum coherence lasts through photosynthesis.
Scientific Reports publishes research from all areas of natural science, which has in its editorial board with a panel of experts capable of evaluating multidisciplinary work.
The 2013 impact factor is 5.078 for Scientific Reports.
This journal is a member of the editorial board of Prof. Toribio Fernández Otero UPCT, world leader in research on conducting polymers and their applications to create smart materials.
