Senior University at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, college program scientific and cultural development aimed at people over 50, open enrollment period for new students on 4 September for students in second and third year, the September 8, and for students in supervised works, September 11.
Focused on promoting inter-generational relations, University of Elders has renewed its offer of courses and has a wide range of subjects that not only complete a professional preparation, but is presented as a consolidation of the vision of diversity and development of university and academic spirit.
Thus, in the first year of the University Senior, students delve into topics such as human biology, contemporary history of Spain, history of technology in the city of Cartagena, formulas savings and investment, mining heritage or French among others.
In the second year, they complete the training of students subjects like psychology, advertising and consumption, art history, computer, office and internet, climate change and sustainable development or film analysis.
The last course, meanwhile, focused training in visual culture, photography and history in Cartagena of the twentieth century, Chinese language and culture, sociology and contemporary culture and entertainment.
The number of places for the first year of the University Senior UPCT is 55, and interested students may apply for a scholarship to be awarded depending on the economic situation of the applicant.
