Avenue Victor Beltrí improve in the coming months with the appearance of the central median landscaping and three intermediate roundabouts.
Until August 28 is the deadline open tendering competition, organized by the Department of Infrastructure of the City of Cartagena, to improve the urban landscape which has a budget of around 326,000 euros.
The performance abracará a stretch of about 2.5 km in length, between The Square and Tejeras Severo Ochoa.
It consists in adapting the central median, whose slopes cypress, palmettos and creeping lantana will be planted.
In the three intermediate roundabouts, San Félix, Barrio and José María Peral Lapuerta, olive, cypress and wasintonas lantana, red palm weevil resistant will be planted.
Between the median and roundabouts 516 cypresses, 500 Lantana, 1,190 fan palms, 51 palms and 30 olive wasintonas be placed.
The work includes the installation of a smart drip irrigation system that will reduce your energy and maintenance.
The risk will be controlled by a remote control that will be connected to the internet and the incidents that are recorded will be received.
Such as rain sensors that allow suspend watering.
Once awarded the works execution within a month are expected.
