The r edes anti jellyfish again fulfill its role after TRAGSA been repaired tear which has caused normal on the beaches of Punta Brava and Los Urrutia s, has been altered over the weekend by the presence of these marine animals.
For this reason the City of Cartagena, through the Municipal Institute of Coastal Services, has reinforced the cleaning of beaches in the affected areas.
In particular, a special team with wiper machines beaches and walking staff in charge of jellyfish removed from the shore, a device that has operated for the weekend at the usual time in which we proceed to clean the beaches were available, between 5:00 and 11:00.
The City will maintain the service until the presence of coelenterates is reduced.
In these 48 hours have already removed four containers filled with jellyfish of work.
On the other hand, the IMSEL maintained permanent contact with TRAGSA hired by the Autonomous Region for the installation and maintenance of networks, this morning has provided two vessels for the removal of jellyfish.
A service will be strengthened tomorrow Tuesday with two more ships.
