Cartagena again host since early this morning to cruise ship passengers who have now made stops in town.
Specifically, the 3,100 passenger Azura, P & O Cruises, returning to anchor in our city, after the visit that it did in June and repeat this coming October.
Thousands of tourists roamed all day, until three in the afternoon, the city center filling the terraces of bars and restaurants.
Interpretation centers and museums, such as the Roman Theatre, the Neighborhood Augusteum or the Roman Forum also received the visit. Same happened on the premises of the old town of Cartagena, where they have taken advantage of the latest seasonal sales.
The Azura is the second cruise that stops in August in our port, totaling eleven will do in Cartagena during this month. The next will be the Insignia, Oceania Cruises, this Saturday, the 9th, with 684 passengers.
Although it will bring more tourists to the city will be the Adventure of the Seas, Royal Caribbean Cruises, a total of 3,114 cruise passengers on day 21. Same day will call two other cruises, Aidavita, Aida Cruises, and Oceana, P & O Cruises.
More than a hundred cruise will call at Cartagena throughout this season, which runs from March until December. Only this August around 16,000 tourists will call in our city.
