The City of Cartagena during the year 2,013 awarded a total of 80 contracts for works and services as it follows from the Recruitment page of the session.
Of the 80 contracts, 67 of them were made by negotiated procedure and only 13 in open competition.
A total of 3,821,334.76 euros were awarded to companies that did not have to compete in an open procedure, where competition undoubtedly improves the amount stated in the awards, with consequent benefits for municipal coffers.
