Cartagena is still the Spanish town with more Q Quality on beaches after incorporation of 22 beaches in the country, as reported by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE).
The 12 beaches with this rating are added to the 10 blue flags placed at the head of Cartagena in the Spanish towns of the Mediterranean.
At present a total of 218 Spanish beaches ensure the tourists who come to enjoy the breeze and cool off in its waters facilities in good condition and some excellent care services user.
Since the minister handed Soria Q Flag at 196 beaches that had achieved the distinctive early June, 22 beaches have added to this list.
In the last Sector Certification Committee has approved the certificate of quality tourism fourteen new sand, of which seven are located in the Region of Murcia, Ã four eagles and three in San Javier. Meanwhile, Andalusia incorporates six new certified beaches, spread over the municipalities of Benalmádena (Málaga), Matalascañas (Huelva), Chipiona (Cádiz) and Adra (Almería);
while Teulada (Alicante) has certified beach Blister L ¿.
Thus, the annual growth rate of beaches certified with the Q Tourism Quality is more than 10% last year, representing a firm commitment to quality and excellence based tourism resources despite difficulties facing many local governments.
The regional ranking is led by Andalusia with 79 Flags Q;
followed by 44 and 37 Valencia Region of Murcia.
In total, nearly 250 miles from the Spanish coast have the distinction of certified quality tourism: the town that has the largest number of beaches is Cartagena, Q 12 flags waving in their coasts, the longer the La Barrosa in Chiclana de la Frontera (Cádiz), which stretches across more than 5,200 feet of shoreline;
while the shortest is Cala Antena in Manacor (Mallorca), with only 25 meters long.
