The Governing Council has finally approved the new campus of the San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (Ucam) in the city of Cartagena.
This new complex of over 100,000 square meters, located in the former headquarters of Sorrows, the next course grades 2014-2015 Nursing, Law, Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education will be taught.
With these new facilities offering higher education in Cartagena is extended, which will help generate new opportunities in academic and research areas, as well as business and industry, of which will benefit both the city and county of Cartagena as rest of the region.
The Inter-University Council meeting last Friday gave unanimous approval to the facility ahead of its opening for next year, during the month of October, after the positive reports of the technical committee of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities and of the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA).
