The Information Committee of Finance and Home Affairs meeting in the morning of Thursday chaired by the councilor of the area, Fatima SUANZES, has known the progress report of the Auditor on the status of implementation of the budget relative to the second quarter of 2014 in which provides that revenues are managed and 55% of the pending settlements in the City and its agencies, net revenue stood at 43% and recognized expenses increased 35%, with a payment level 77.5% .
Councillor considers that these figures represent acceptable levels of performance, even taking into account that two quarters are not enough to venture the progress of the implementation, especially in respect of expenditure, as these increase as the year progresses.
According to the report, the City maintains the time of payment at an average of 38 days, although in the second quarter taxes not generate large liquidity rotate.
The commission's proposal has met the annual accounts of Old Town SA for the year 2013, as adopted by its board of directors and approved, with a vote against the opposition, the proposal to amend the budget to meet expenses related with reforms in the building of La Milagrosa, helping the Little Sisters of the Poor, funeral expenses and the Sea of ​​Music festival.
