A group of 35 children aged 5 to 14 are involved during the months of July and August in programs that pools the City of Cartagena organized for needy families.
This program, which is repeated every summer for years in the swimming Youth House, The Straits Aljorra and Pozo, in practice means the extension of an initiative that the City maintained throughout the year in municipal facilities within programming of the Sports Council.
This was assured Councilman Social Care, Antonio Calderon, who emphasized free access to these facilities throughout the year to all children who are referred from Social Care when their services requested for children of families that work.
The councilman added that recent requests have surprised free for children without resources made ​​public recently: Those who asked demonstrated a disturbing lack of work done since municipal services for many years.
