In the context of cultural and promotional activities of the 25th Anniversary of the Festival of Carthaginians and Romans, the Federation troops and legions inaugurated on September 10 the great Exhibition "Second Punic War: the thrill of a past time" in the Palace Molina de Cartagena, which will remain open until the 27th of that month.
This exhibition aims to teach details of history that comes alive in the second half of September and therefore has to explain course content and relate the most important events in the Second Punic War, developed in collaboration with Elena Ruiz Valdez, director of the Museum Roman Theatre of Cartagena, and festive Benito Soto Garcia, a member of Troop Baal Hammon.
These contents are illustrated with superb photographs of those official acts recall that during the holidays, taken by photographer Abel Ros in the last edition of Carthaginians and Romans.
The exhibition will also include the example of the 25 official posters for the holidays, so that visitors can appreciate the technical variety and compositional elements in the designs by the winning authors performed this work.
This content is trying to attract the interest of various groups towards this exhibition is launched for the first time to mark the 25th Anniversary of the Festival, promoting their dissemination to allow those schools, associations, organizations and sectors of our region and other regions showing interest to expose it, they can apply to the Federation troops and legions, inaugurating an annual touring circuit that always include the city of Cartagena during the month of September.
To encourage the use of our history as a motivator of students, the content of the exhibition will also be included in a file in digital format will be available on the official website of the Festival for schools applying for download, with the to use it as an innovative teaching materials in courses and subjects relevant.
