Crossing Partnership Mar Menor held last Sunday, the 13th, the fifth edition was attended by about 300 people.
Paradise Beach was the venue that hosted this event which aims to raise public awareness about this disease.
EMACC, Multiple Sclerosis Association of Cartagena and Shire, organized this trip in collaboration with the Department of Sports, and which this year raised a total of 2,280 euros, to be used for research and treatment of patients.
Two tests, one 1500m adult and one for children, 600 were held. Though a non-competitive event in which swam 100 meters solidarity was also organized.
The top three in each category received a trophy from the hands of the council of Sports, Diego Ortega and Social Care, Antonio Calderon, who attended this competition.
The other participants also were made to delivery of a diploma, provisioning, and a shirt.
The Cartagena Association and District Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Department of Sports City of Cartagena and Swimming Federation of Murcia organized this competition in collaboration with the Directorate General of Youth and Sports, the Civil Protection of Cartagena, the Association of Residents of Paradise Beach and the Municipal Sports Center Mediterranean.
