Councilman Social Care and members of the Special Committee on Disability of the Regional Assembly, visited the hotel for Friday and check the results of an experience that is developed in collaboration with PEEM, in which nine people involved with intellectual disabilities
Members of the Special Committee on Disability of the Regional Assembly of Murcia on Friday visited the hotel Entremares La Manga, including Thomas Violante, Ana Guijarro and Maria Dolores Soler, who came accompanied by the popular group's spokesman in the Assembly Regional, Severa Gonzalez and Councillor of Social Services of the City of Cartagena, Antonio Calderon.
During his visit he met with officials of the hotel facility, Alberto English, Miguel à ngel Martin and Elizabeth Shepherd, and took the opportunity to learn from the experience that has been developing for some years in the field of employment in collaboration with CEOM ( Association for the Integration of Persons with Intellectual Disability).
The members of the Commission on the ground could see the work currently carried nine people with intellectual disabilities in various departments of the hotel, interviewing them in their workplaces and checking the total integration of all with their peers and with the work developing.
This initiative has been selected by FORETICA (a network of organizations and professionals involved in the development of Social Responsibility) for the ENTERPRISE 2020, promoted by the European Commission and the European network of corporate social responsibility CSR Europe.
