The Agency for Local Development and Employment of the City of Cartagena (ALDE) and the European Centre of Enterprises and Cartagena (CEEIC) Innovation, part of the Institute for the Promotion of the Region of Murcia have successfully completed the first phase of Undertaking with Lean Start Up led to innovative entrepreneurs need to validate a new business model.
In this first phase has involved 15 entrepreneurs with a total of 12 innovative business models that were previously selected by ALDE CEEIC and, with some difficulty to the high demand of students interested.
In the words of Councillor for Employment, Joaquín Segado, the objective of this first phase was narrow business models, validate and reflect on the different tools supported by the Lean Start Up provides innovative entrepreneurs.
Some of the tools used in the program have been the model Lean Canvas, Empathy Map, Story Telling,
All business projects that have started the program have proven their business model hypotheses, some of which, thanks to the program itself, have pivoted their initial proposals and others have matured, reaching the true Minimum Viable Product.
OUTSTANDING PROJECTS
Among the most notable projects include a website selling food products for people with celiac disease and food allergies s, a maintenance of dams and other irrigation facilities through microorganisms, a start-up developer of APP that allows anyone have controlled their health with optimal management of their drugs through a single mobile application integrating this system with software for clinics and hospitals, creating a clothing brand that integrates the disabled visuale s in the world of fashion and a creative platform that implements an entrepreneurial community with ideas that are put into practice under social democratization.
During the month of September will be held the closing ceremony and presentation of certificates to participants of the same, and continue to work and accompanying the more mature projects to the implementation thereof.
This program, pioneered in the Region of Murcia, has been eminently practical, where all course participants have cooperated with peers, sharing knowledge and helping to validate their business ideas in an open and collaborative work environment.
The Lean Startup method provides an effective and efficient way of prioritizing activities in high uncertainty environments such as innovation and entrepreneurship.
