The smallest have the possibility to approach the culture through theatrical tours, children's workshops and interactive games that are offered during the months of July, August and September for the Roman period in our city.
The City, through Cartagena Port of Cultures, has scheduled these activities taking place at the Museum of the Roman Theatre, the District Forum, the Augusteum and Castillo de la Concepción.
Tuesdays to Sundays, Discover the traces of Augustus, an exciting game, through mobile, adventure, wit and action, where visitors will be starring in the history of discovering what Roman character will become.
This new game will solve puzzles with a tour of the Roman Theatre Museum, Neighbourhood Forum and Augusteum, with entry to these spaces free game is included.
Mondays The Secret of Stonemasons at Castillo de la Concepción.
It is a mystery and search workshop where children will have to find the marks left by stone masons when they built the castle and know its meaning.
Admission includes Pan & Castle Elevator.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, Maccus, Pappus and other stars of the show.
An activity where children investigate about theaters in antiquity, visiting the Museum of the Roman Theatre, until the reservoir, where it will become the stars of the show.
Wednesday is the turn of the Explorers in the windlass.
A gymkhana for the little ones in the neighborhood of the Roman Forum which will find out, as they enjoyed the Romans a day at the spa or banquet at nightfall in Carthago Nova.
These workshops will begin at 18.00.
Friday will be a chance to relive a theatrical tour, Augusto's trip to Carthago Nova, where the Roman Emperor explained, first hand, how a city transformed brick into a city of marble and its relationship to Carthago Nova.
To do this, Augusto, show the grand theater that he had built, will walk through the Baths and the magnificent building Banquet, found in the neighborhood of the Forum and will end in Augusteum, the temple dedicated to the Emperor, with its own ritual over 2,000 years ago.
