October 18 is the date chosen by Socialist Alternative (Clias) of the Socialist party for forming Cartagena, to celebrate a conference of federal character Municipal Policy.
Members of the Federal Committee meeting yesterday in Santa Fe (Granada) Apor elected unanimously holding this conference in Cartagena.
The proposal was put forward by the delegation composed of Cartagena 4 people and had the support of all regional offices.
Socialist Alternative is a political formation born in Madrid on December 1, 2013, and consists largely of social activists and militants left PSOE discipline for his neoliberal drift.
In the last European elections, Socialist Alternative candidates was part of the Plural Left by Izquierda Unida, ANOVA, Initiative for Catalonia Greens, etc..
The federal committee yesterday approved several resolutions for the forthcoming local and regional elections, where the search space bet confluence with other political and social forces of the left to form majorities able to leave institutional policies reiterate the neoliberal and so many cuts are causing suffering to all citizens.
Also, the federal committee of Socialist Alternative reaffirmed its strategic alliance with the United Left, as a preferred partner in the search for those majorities.
By holding this conference in Cartagena, Socialist Alternative wishes to express its unconditional support to the agreement reached by Socialist and United Left Cartagena of the forthcoming municipal elections, and firmly committed to the Call for Change movement to which it belongs, as ideal to articulate a majority evict the PP government in the Autonomous Community instrument.
Finally note that in these days of municipal politics is expected not only members of Socialist Alternative whole state, but representatives of social groups, political parties and trade unions involved.
