The City Council has launched a special safety device for the summer, to attend the places of greatest influx of vacationers, such as La Manga and Cabo de Palos, with special incidence in control noise, the bottle, and driving under the effects of alcohol
Summer vacation fun pose for the younger, and rest for the remainder, and in order to reconcile the two ways to enjoy the summer, the Department of Public Safety has launched since last weekend A special device control and monitoring, whose presence will become clearer on weekends and in the beach areas of greatest influx of vacationers, such as La Manga and Cabo de Palos.
The noises, drinking in public and driving under the influence of alcohol are the three areas in which the agents that are part of this device, focus their efforts and for this, as explained General Safety Coordinator, Juan Antonio Calabria, when the same design has taken into account the experience of other years to determine the places that young people often choose to bottle, areas where surveillance will be increased to avoid incidents and problems with neighbors.
In this sense, Calabria has ensured that there will be a further monitor operations to prevent the sale of alcohol to minors and the local police will be less permissive on the subject of noise, even to seize the equipment that is causing excess and consequent noise nuisance, who does not comply will be punished.
In addition, in collaboration with Civil Protection and Infrastructure, will work to maintain the cleanliness and safety in areas where young people gather.
On the other hand, local actors will also be coordinated with the Civil Guard to sobriety checkpoints, especially at the entrances and exits of the entertainment areas of Cabo de Palos and La Manga, especially on weekends.
