Councilman Social Care, Antonio Calderon, has traveled to Madrid this week to participate in a seminar on School Integration and Cultural Diversity, organized by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities (FEMP), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.
At this meeting, Calderón, accompanied by the Immigration Program Coordinator and Development Cooperation, Lucía Hernández, attended a panel discussion on the Contributions of Local Governments in building an Intercultural and Inclusive Education Model.
During the course of it, the council made ​​an enhancement of municipal work, commenting on the actions carried out on immigration, their experiences, the principles of intercultural policy and coordination between all stakeholders, sharing with other municipalities responsible for institutional policies.
