A total of 18 students of Dual Vocational Training Monday celebrating their graduation after completing this course.
This is the Senior Technical Training Course in Industrial Chemistry that took place at the Polytechnic and REPSOL IES.
The Faculty of Business hosted the event in which these students, accompanied by family and friends, received their border, a gift certificate and souvenir.
It is the first class of this FP Dual that has pioneered in the region and in Spain on Education, explained this morning the Minister of Education, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, who attended the graduation.
For his part, Director of Repsol, Juan Antonio Carrillo de Albornoz Tejedor, highlighted the success of this cycle that will allow these young people to find a job more easily, as demonstrated by the implementation of this model in other European countries.
And is that students not only learned the theory, but put into practice what they had been taught through practices designed for this cycle in the refinery. It is a transformation in education that allows train our youth in positions now demand, added the mayor, Pilar Barreiro, who also attended the graduation ceremony, as the director of IES Polytechnic, Victoria Moreno Diego.
For his part, Minister ahead for next year that the training offer will double with this kind of initiatives that companies and schools collaborate. Yet the term is open to Institutes propose this type of training in their facilities.
