Two hundred and fifty researchers from the European Union have gathered in UPCT to discuss the latest research findings and technological development in the field of plant biology.
Among other issues, experts have disclosed the XII Meeting of Molecular Plant Biology Advances in recent effects of climate change on growth and development of plants, the influence of cirdadiano clock or flowering mechanisms.
Guest speakers include Alex Webb of the University of Cambridge;
George Coupland, director of the Max Planck Cologne and Paloma Mas, the Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics.
The conference began Wednesday and concludes Friday morning.
The conference organizer, Marcos Egea, deputy director of the Institute of Plant Biotechnology UPCT said that prestigious companies are presented with four papers related to biotechnology.
Also participating attached deputy public-private partnership of the Ministry of Economy, Barbara and Cecilia Hernández Fernández, Department of Health, Biotechnology and Natural Resources CDTI (Centre for Industrial Technological Development).
