About a hundred craftsmen, nonprofit associations and companies participate next Saturday, June 14, in the council of Tallante, in the fourth edition of the Fair of Biodiversity.
The objective of this initiative is to promote awareness of biodiversity Southeast Iberian energize rural areas through sustainable and ecological development and awareness of natural and heritage values ​​of the area west of Cartagena.
The fair, which was born in 2013 on the initiative of the Tadpoles association has been organized on this occasion, in addition to this group, by the association of friends of art, Pigments, Stewardship Entity Garbancillo Territory (ECUGA) and Tallante Neighborhood Association.
The program this year includes, in parallel to the exhibition of local produce and crafts, lectures, thematic workshops, musical performances, children's activities, dance and exhibitions from 10 to 22 hours.
Throughout the day, attendees can sample local products made ​​by artisans;
seasonal jams, homemade liqueurs and spirits, pastry and bread flours for people with food intolerances or organic cheeses and other specialties.
Biodiversity, heritage, hiking trails, macrobiotics, alternative economy, ethical banking and education are the topics of the seven lectures that have been prepared for the occasion.
Have also been organized entertainment for children, samples of falconry displays of traditional crafts, parades and various workshops;
including two on beekeeping and wine tasting, funded by the Biodiversity Foundation under the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment.
